Our China manufacturing strength has been established over many years thanks to a sustained presence in the country as well as fostering strong ties with key manufacturing centers.

The ability to personally discuss EACH project with our facilities is critical. There is a clear understanding of our customers’ needs and these can be managed each day if necessary.

We also have local data and information on government changes and raw materials.

Facility Selection

We currently work with factories in PRC and Malaysia. Our selection process of partner factories is extensive and does not stop once we start manufacturing with any facility;

The selection process includes but is not limited to;

  • Introduction to facility
  • Factory Visit to determine facility Operations
  • Meeting with Facility Owners/Management to determine business philosophy/process fit and competency
  • Financial Audit and Health of Organization.
  • Product Sampling to determine manufacturing quality and processes.
  • Random Visitation to view production standards.
  • Ethical Standards Audit.
  • Small order trial.

The manufacturing network is constantly assessed and evaluated on these measures.

As we are based in China we visit factories weekly.

Being local allows us to employ continuous improvement initiatives on our measures and manufacturing processes.

Quality Inspection

The QC process is an eight stage process on ALL projects.

  • Raw Materials Audit.
  • Prototype Production Sample.
  • Mass Production Sample.
  • Black Body Inspection.
  • Powder Coat/Paint Inspection.
  • Pre Packaging Test of functionality.
  • Packaging Standards.
  • Loading.

Each of these stages has been identified as critical to provide our customers with quality product ready to utilize on arrival at the locations around the world.

The stages are carried out by our Shanghai based Design and Engineering teams.

Right Facility

For every product range we manufacture we have a minimum of 3 facilities that can produce equipment. This allows us to select and challenge our facilities on;

  • Expertise; Small production, medium and large scale.
  • Pricing; we obtain multiple prices on EVERY project.
  • Capacity; Peak periods can cause capacity issues at facilities.
  • Location; Best selection based on customer location to minimize shipping costs.
